Strategist - Board Director - Change Maker
About my work
My entire career has focused on developing large-scale change initiatives with lasting impact. It has been an honor to see my work recognized by leading awards including the UN SDG Impact Award, P4G SDG Impact Award for a Circular Economy, the Effies, SXSW, FastCompany, HALO, Webbys, Shortys, and Cannes Lions. While leading philanthropy for the late Paul Allen, he received the penultimate recognition of his work - The Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy - due in large part to his work to stop the spread of Ebola.
I’ve served as a keynote speaker on some of the largest international stages including The Economist World Ocean Summit, UN Environment Assembly, CERES, Bloomberg Green, and Sustainable Brands. I have also served as keynote speaker on topics ranging from climate change to ocean plastics for some of the most beloved and influential global companies including Ball Corporation, Dell Technologies, J. Crew, L’Oreal, TOM FORD, and Trek Bicycles.
Rooted in science yet practical in approach, I bring an inspirational tone to my work. Whether working with Paul Allen or Andrew Forrest, Adrian Grenier or Jason Momoa, the UN Environment Programme or Fortune 500 C-suite leaders, investors, or NGO CEOs, I have been fortunate to guide some of the most important initiatives of our times. I have also served as fractional CMO, leveraging my marketing communication experiences on behalf of the US Water Alliance and The Recycling Partnership.
Corporate Board Director
Since 2021 I have been fortunate to serve as Independent Director for Ball Corporation (NYSE: BALL) where I sit on the NomGov and Finance Committees. I also serve as a director on a private company board and have served on several non-profit boards including the Green Sports Alliance, Climate Solutions, Sustainable Ocean Alliance, and TACT - teaching the autistic community the trades.

My impact has been featured in Forbes, The Washington Post, The New York Times, NPR, Grist, Axios, Barrons, FastCompany, Bloomberg, Financial Times, Vogue, and countless others. Here are a few of my favorites, including that time I beat Tucker Carlson…
